For more than 26 years, I’ve served the citizens of Cullman County as a deputy sheriff. From a corrections deputy to patrol, to a school resource officer, to SWAT team member, and now in my current role as a member of the command staff, I’ve devoted my career and my life to protecting and serving the citizens of this great county. I’ve worked side by side with Sheriff Matt Gentry to help make the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office the best sheriff’s office in all of Alabama.

I began my career as a deputy sheriff right here at the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office. Lord willing, and with your support, I plan to end my career as your sheriff. I’m Chad Whaley, and I’m running for sheriff of Cullman County. From my family to yours, we would love and appreciate your vote, your support, and your prayers. Thank you.
